This portrait was a reject.

I had photgraphed the two labradors separately and hadn't taken in the fact that the dog (on the right) was much larger than the bitch. It was immediately obvious to the owner though the instant she saw the portrait and she said so - very tactfully I have to admit.

She also said that she would still take it but I wouldn't have been happy with that and did it again.

This time she was very happy with the result.

Unfortunately I didn't photograph the second one - it would have been interesting to compare the two - I only have this photo because i still have the portrait as a reminder to be a little more observant.
